Excavation/Expedition/Academia

These skill trees take part of the Archaeology sets of skill trees that become available after building the Explorer's Society Guild House during A Room with a View quest from the Legacy of the Dragonborn.

Your Archaeology level will increase by one every time you mine an archaeological Excavation Site or whenever creating a item at the Archaeology Station. For every 5 levels in the Archaeology skill you gain a perk point that can be invested in any of the 3 skill trees.

Dragonborn

Dragonborn is a completely standalone perk tree focused on shouts. You gain experience by killing dragons. The more Shouts you master, the more experience you can gain.

Companions

Companinons is a completely standalone perk tree linked to the companions quest. You unlock perks using the normal game perk points.

Lichdom

Lichdom is a completely standalone perk tree linked to the Undeath quest. Whenever you capture a soul or have a creature die near you, you gain experience based on its level.

Vigilant of Stendaar

This perk tree is a completely standalone perk tree related to the Vigilant of Stendaar. While wearing the Amulet of Stendarr, you can gain skill XP by defeating the following.

  • Undead Ghosts
  • Vampires
  • Witches
  • Warlocks
  • Necromancers
  • Werewolves
  • Werebears
  • Daedras

One skill point is awarded when skill level reaches a multiple of 4.
