Nolvus uses a Combat Stances System which allows you to switch to 4 different weapon movesets by weapon types.

This is done by the mod MCO Stances Framework designed for Nolvus.

You can change your combat stance by pressing the corresponding stance keyboard key.

These stances are

• Neutral
• Low
• Mid
• High

Each time you change your combat stance from Neutral to High a different weapon moveset (e.g a different attack animation) will play

If you want to replace an "Official" weapon moveset, follow these steps

To be used with the MCO Stances Framework a moveset needs to be

• MCO compatible
• DAR (Dynamic Animation Replacer) compatible

You can easily check that without downloading the mod from Nexus

Let's take this example (ADXP I MCO Valhalla Greatsword Animation Polished (SCAR)) from Nexus.

The animation files (*.hkx) must begin with MCO and the folder structure must contain a directory called DynamicAnimationReplacer

Install this mod as a regular mod using Mod Organizer 2

When the mod is installed, we need to set it up for the MCO Stances Framework

Double click on the mod in MO2

First thing first, delete the _conditions.txt file (already handled by the MCO Stances Framework) and any SCAR file. As it's a player animation scar files must be deleted.

Next the folder number must be changed and replaced by any MCO Stances Framework compatible folder number related to the stance you want to replace.

At this stage we need to know what number we have to set

In our example the moveset is a great sword moveset

You will find below the Stances folder numbers Matrix for the MCO Stances Framework

Let's say that you want to replace the Mid stance. In this case 200070 must be replaced by 100124 (Great Swords Mid Stances)

WARNING IMPORTANT!!!

You need to disable in MO2 the official animation moveset mod your new moveset is about to replace OTHERWISE you will have ISSUES, T-POSE or even CRASH

Now this animation will play (instead of the official one) using a great sword and mid stance.
