As described in the previous sections, this guide provides a manual way of installing mods, if you want to go for automatic method, follow these steps (It's the same for all the mods)
For each mod you will see these buttons
The guide will always tell you to click on manual download
For automatic method, click on Mod Manager Download, you will get a window popup on your browser, click on Open NXM Link Proxy
Go to Mod Organizer 2 Downloads tab to see the progress of your download
When the mods is downloaded, you will get this result.
Right click on the mod and select Install.
For some mods you will see these notes
Warning!!!
Sometimes when you install and activate a mod, the corresponding esp plugin file (if any) on the right panel can be left unchecked.
Always check in the Mod Organizer 2 right panel if the corresponding esp file is activated (unless the guide explicitly says to uncheck it)
If you run your game between sections YOU WILL HAVE A LOT OF BUGS OR CRASHES!!! Don't post your issues on the discord until you completed the guide

The Nolvus patches now rely on compacted versions of the mods it includes.
BE SURE TO COMPACT/ESL ALL THE MODS MENTIONNED IN THE GUIDE OTHERWISE YOU WILL CRASH.
Make sure you install the mods in the following order.
Click on a mod to expand the content
First thing first, we will create a separator in Mod Organizer 2, to organize our mods more easily
Right click on SSE Edit Data select All Mods and create separator
Type 1.CORE and click OK
SKSE stands for Skyrim Script Extender. It's a prerequisites for lot of mods covered by the Nolvus mod pack.

To download SKSE click on the link as described below
Warning!!!
The version of SKSE MUST match the version of your Skyrim Special Edition.
If your Skyrim SE gets an update from Steam you will need to update your SKSE to the corresponding version as well.
SKSE version 2.0.0.19 is the version used for Skyrim SE 1.5.97.0
For more informations read this.
If you don't see the version 2.0.0.19, click here for archived builds and select v 2.0.0.19.
When downloaded copy the file skse64_2_00_19.7z to your NOLVUS\ARCHIVE\1_CORE directory.
Right click on the file skse64_2_00_19.7z select 7-Zip and Extract here.
You should normaly have a temporary folder NOLVUS\ARCHIVE\1_CORE\skse64_2_00_19 with files as described below
Copy these 3 files inside your Skyrim SE installation directory Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition
Right click on Data directory and select 7-Zip->Add To archive
Name the file SKSE_20019_Scripts.7z as described below and click OK
The directory NOLVUS\ARCHIVE\1_CORE\skse64_2_00_19 should look like this
Cut the file SKSE_20019_Scripts.7z and copy it to your NOLVUS\ARCHIVE\1_CORE directory.
You can now delete the temporary directory NOLVUS\ARCHIVE\1_CORE\skse64_2_00_19 and the downloaded archive file NOLVUS\ARCHIVE\1_CORE\skse64_2_00_19.7z
After this your directory NOLVUS\ARCHIVE\1_CORE should only contain the new created file SKSE_20019_Scripts.7z
In Mod Organizer 2 click on add mod button
Browse to NOLVUS\ARCHIVE\1_CORE\SKSE_20019_Scripts.7z and select OK
This screen should appear, give the name SKSE 2.0.0.19 and click on OK
Drag and drop SKSE 2.0.0.19 above SSE Edit Data and check the mod as shown below
Select SKSE and click on Run
In the game main menu open the console by typing this keyboard key
Type getskseversion and hit enter
This message should appear if SKSE is correctly installed
You can now close the game.
Contains header file and a database to make SKSE DLL plugins version independent easily.

In Mod Organizer 2 click on add mod button
Browse to NOLVUS\ARCHIVE\1_CORE\(Part 1) SSE Engine Fixes for 1.5.39 - 1.5.97-17230-5-8-3-1637799413.7z and select OK
Type SSE Engine Fixes and click OK
Drag and drop SSE Engine Fixes above SSE Edit Data and check the mod.
Rigth Click on NOLVUS\ARCHIVE\1_CORE\(Part 2) Engine Fixes - skse64 Preloader and TBB Lib-17230-2020-3-1611367474.7z select 7-zip and Extract to (Part2)...
Got to directory NOLVUS\ARCHIVE\1_CORE\(Part 2) Engine Fixes - skse64 Preloader and TBB Lib-17230-2020-3-1611367474 and copy these 3 files inside your Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition directory
You can now delete your temporary directory (Part 2) Engine Fixes - skse64 Preloader and TBB Lib-17230-2020-3-1611367474
Double click on the mod, select Filetree tab, right click on the file EngineFixes.toml and select open in explorer
Open the file with an editor of your choice, got to the end of the file and set this setting to true
Set MaxStdio to 8192
This mod enables papyrus scripts to execute console commands

This mod edits the UI to show a great deal of additional information on npcs, items, and other objects when the console is opened, similar to the way MFG console worked for Oldrim

This plugin enables native translation nesting present within SkyUI, as well as English fallbacks

Drag and drop Fixed Dragon Stalking Fix above SSE Edit Data and check the mod.Simple DLL plugins loader.
Click here to download the mod from nexusmods.com.
Select DLL Plugin Loader v1 (the first main file) and click on manual download and slow download (if you are not a premium member).
When downloaded got to the folder where the file has been downloaded, cut the file DLL Plugin Loader v1-10546-1.zip and copy it to your NOLVUS\ARCHIVE\1_CORE directory
Right click on the file DLL Plugin Loader v1-10546-1.zip, select 7-zip and Extract to DLL Plugin Loader v1-10546-1
You should get these files
In your Skyrim installation directory (Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition) locate the file binkw64.dll and rename it to binkw64_.dll
Copy the file binkw64.dll from your previously extracted archive to your Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition
Create a new text file and name it binkw64.log. Warning file extention MUST BE log and not txt.
Start the game wait until you reach the main menu and close the game. Open the file binkw64.log and check if plugins have loaded correctly.
Fix for a bug in Skyrim Special Edition that causes low fps.

In Mod Organizer 2 click on add mod button
Browse to NOLVUS\ARCHIVE\1_CORE\Keyword Item Distributor-55728-2-0-1652806645.7z and select OK

Click on the sort button

Select SKSE and click on Run
In the game main menu start a new game
You can now directly create a new character using the mod Alternate Start Live another Life
Select a place to start (the game intro will be passed).
Exit the game and go back to Mod Organizer 2.
In Mod Organizer 2 double click on overwrite at the bottom window
You should see this window
Close the window, right click on overwrite and select Create Mod
Give the name SKSE Outputs and click OK
Check the new created mod.
Right click on SSE Edit Data, select All mods -> Create Separator and give the name OUTPUTS.
You should have the following result.
