1.3.5 LOOT

LOOT Stands for Load Order Optimization Tools.First of all what is a load order. When you install mods you can have mods containing an esp file and mods that doesn't (like textures mods). All mods with an esp file will be loaded sequentially meaning one after an other. In other words a mod being installed after a given mod will overwrite records from the previous one. I will not go deeper than that but let's just say that some mods require to be installed before or after other mods. Loot is used to manage this. using it's master database it knows for the majority of the mods which mods to load before a given mod or after.

LOOT

Setting the right load order for your mods is a crucial step to enjoying a stable modded game. The Load Order Optimisation Tool (LOOT) can help with that, by providing automated load order sorting that's simple to use and fully customisable.
